Nozawa Megumi, is a skilled, multi-award-winning artisan. She demonstrates her talent through art pieces which capture recollections from her youth and scenes from her daily surroundings. She is presently located in Minato Ward, Tokyo and is actively participating in Kokeshi exhibitions. She is also a member of Kokeshi Village Facebook group where she shares her knowledge and work with the Kokeshi community.

Utilizing a range of techniques such as carving, painting and pyrography. and a variety of design styles to create her pieces, Nozawa-sensei’s Kokeshi radiate happiness and contemplation.
