Yamazaki-sensei was born in Tokyo and Is a graduate from Kyoritsu Women's University. In 1990, she met and witnessed the work of Yoshida Takashi. Impressed by his skill, she became his student.

Yamazaki-sensei is a Master artisan, winning numerous awards. Unafraid of tackling large Kokeshi projects and working with power tools, she excels in her skills as a painter and Kokeshi creator. She is also a Kokeshi instructor. Her works are highly coveted by collectors worldwide.

Fun Tidbit: She loves dogs and riding her motorcycle!
