Though little is known about the artisan's personal background, Isamu Yamanaka’s Kokeshi work speaks volumes through their charming and expressive craftsmanship. Crafted from natural woods, with an apparent preference for Zelkova, each piece highlights the organic beauty of the material, allowing the grain and texture to enhance the simplicity and warmth of the design.
