Artisan is residing in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture. In 2013, Mitsuharu Fujita, initiated craft activities under the brand COOKIES, engaging in numerous craft events throughout the prefecture. The subsequent year, he embarked on a self-directed journey to produce innovative Kokeshi (wooden dolls) and broadened his involvement in craft events beyond the prefecture.
He later studied with traditional Tsugaru Kokeshi masters. However, he self-identifies his works as Sōsaku.


Exhibitions | Memberships 🖼️

2015 Participated in an event organized by KUROISHI CRAFT GARDEN.
2016 Started selling works at the Aomori Prefectural Museum shop.
2017 Exhibited at the Aomori Good Things Exhibition (Tenri Gallery, New York).
Held first solo exhibition, COOKIES Exhibition (BAMBOO FOREST, Hirosaki City). Participated in the 100 People Vegetable Crayon Art Exhibition (Aomori Prefectural Museum).
2018 Began selling works at FOLKESHI (France).
2019 Exhibited at the AOMORI POP-UP STORE (Taiwan).
Participated in My One Item Exhibition (Aomori Prefectural Museum).
2020 Designed and sold Shakouki Dogu Kendama (Komakino Ruins).
2021 Featured in the book Japanese Kokeshi Dolls by Manami Okazaki.
Exhibited at the book launch event (Sway Gallery, UK).
2022 Collaborated with outdoor brand CHUMS JAPAN to create limited-edition Tohoku items, including CHUMS COOKIES art.
2024 Exhibited in Art Without Heroes (William Morris Gallery, UK).
