MYSTERY SOLVED Koho  MYSTERY SOLVED  This is not the signature. What it says is 郷土名産" Kyoudomeisan ' (Kyodo-Meisan ) ' means Local Souvenir. Thanks to Tomoko Young for providing the information.  MYSTERY SOLVED: Kobayashi Shouzou  Kobayashi Shouzou ( 1942 ~ ) Can say Tougatta but it's originated to Hijiori style.  Serious Kokeshi collectors in Japan often consider all the artists relating Ushizo (  Sato Ushizou → Kobayashi Zensaku → Kobayashi Shouzou )   as Hijiori Kokeshi artists because of the career of Sato Ushizo.  He worked in HIjiori area when he was young and later on he moved to Tougatta village so we can see the influence of Hijiori Kokeshi over the style of Ushizou's doll that is very different from other classical Tougatta Kokeshi doll. MYSTERY SOLVED: Hiraga Kenjirou  Hiraga Kenjirou. (1918 - 2012 ), Sakunami Traditional, His master : Hiraga Kenzou, His son : Hiraga Kenichi,  Grandson : Hiraga Teruyuki. Information provided by Tomoko Young  MYSTERY SOLVED: Shibutani Shinraku  Shibutani Shinraku.  Kijiyama Kokeshi artist from Yuzawa city, Akita prefecture. His name is not listed on the official traditional Kokeshi artist book. His master is Onodera Kouraku..  Onodera Kouraku is the self thought Kijiyama Kokeshi artist. ( 1927 - ? perhaps passed away ). Thanks to Tomoko Young for providing the information.  MYSTERY SOLVED 葉城 Hajiro or Yōjyo  Thanks to Yoshio K  MYSTERY SOLVED: KANNO SHOUICHI  KANNO SHOUICHI (菅野昭一) is the accurate pronounciation. Usually 菅野 is pronounced SUGANO, but in this case, KANNO is the correct way to pronounce it. Tougatta Kokeshi artist. (Thanks to Tomoko Young for identifying the signature). 
MYSTERY SOLVED: Miyahara Taiji  Miyahara Taiji or Miyahara Yasuharu. The first name can be read in only two ways. But I'm not 100% sure which way is correct either Taiji or Yasuharu.     Kijiyama Kokeshi artist, Akita prefecture. Thank you Tomoko Young for providing this information.  MYSTERY SOLVED: Sato Ushizou  Sato Ushizou (1889 ~ passed )  This signature says Ushizou 85 years old.  He's between HIjiori - Tougatta kokeshi artist. It's a long story, some interesting historical story is involved  how  Hijiori Kokeshi and Tougattta Kokeshi were formed.  One of the famous master , many collectors in Japan loves his dolls. Info provided by Tomoko Young  MYSTERY SOLVED  Not the signature . It is the title ' Tabi - wa - Michizure '. means travelling together (hard to describe the nuance) iNFO provided by Tomoko Young  MYSTERY SOLVED  It says IWASAKI. What it says is 郷土名産" Kyoudomeisan ' (Kyodo-Meisan ) ' means Local Souvenir. Thanks to Tomoko Young for providing the information.  PARTIAL MYSTERY SOLVED  I was informed by Tomoko Young that this is not the signature, it says Towadako (lake Towada ), located between Akita & Aomori. The doll is still listed in the Creative Kokeshi Album if anyone recognizes the style of the doll and can ID her maker please let us know.  MYSTERY SOLVED: Aihara  Aihara. MYSTERY SOLVED  Not the signature. It says ' Tsugarudakoe ' (Tsugaru - Dako ( or Tako ) - e ) is the Traditional Folk Kite that has drawing of Tsugaru Nebuta in HIrosaki city, Aomori. Information provided by Tomoko Young.  MYSTERY SOLVED  No signature, but it says  Gion which is the area of Geisha ladies deep inside of Kyoto.Classical 1950's nodder head, souvenir, shingata, Kokeshi doll. Thank you to Tomoko Young for helping identify this Hanko Stamp.  MYSTERY SOLVED: Yajima Suihou  Yajima Suihou, one of the earliest Sosaku Kokeshi artist. He took care of many following young artist. PARTIAL MYSTERY SOLVED  Tomoko Young has informed that this is not the signature. It says ' June 25th, Showa 42 , Oga Peninsula '.  Showa 42 is 1967.  Oga peninsula is a part of Akita prefecture. Written by the first owner of this doll. The doll is listed under the creative album and this information is also there. Hopefully in the future someone will also recognize the doll and its artist.  MYSTERY SOLVED: Ishii Seirou  Artist : Ishii Seirou (1929 - 2007).  Nambu / or  Nanbu traditional Kokeshi artist. Morioka Bokko means Morioka Kokeshi doll. Bokko is the old local word before the word Kokeshi was used. This artist doesn't have a direct pedigree master. He learned the basic thing (how to use a lathe ) from Ogura Kameshige who was the worker of the factory of Ishii Seirou's father. MYSTERY SOLVED: Miura Setsuko  Thank you hayabusa0550 for identifying this Signature as Miura Setsuko  MYSTERY SOLVED Takizawa Midori  MYSTERY SOLVED: Yashiro Tetsuen  Artist : 八代鉄園 Yashiro Tetsuen. He is not officially listed in creative Kokeshi books because his dolls are creative style inspired by traditional Kokeshi. This style is referred to as Shingata Kokeshi. The last name "Tetsuen"' is passed on to the next generation of makers. Now is the 2nd generation I think. The 2nd Tetsuen is female and she is called Nidaime Tetsuen also a 2nd generation of Tetsuen, her real name is Hamazu Chiyoko. She is the sister in law of Yashiro Tetsuen (the master, 1st generation) also she is the wife of Hamazu Heizanuro, the Traditional Yajiro Kokeshi artist and. His master is Niiyama Sanai. The writing reads, Irouzaki, and is the name of the cape located in the end of Izu Peninsula.

It says ' May 14, 1953, Tokyo Sanbidou, Papa ' Tokyo Sanbido is the name of chain store of folk souvenir basically located in downtown Tokyo, and Papa means dad.-Thanks to Tomoko Young who provided the information  MYSTERY SOLVED: Sato Koji  Sato Koji , Traditional Kokeshi artist lived in Sendai city. His father : Sato Kenji, Son : Sato Kenichi (Tougatta). Information provided by Tomoko Young  MYSTERY SOLVED: Kanazawa Tokushige  Tomoko Kobayashi Young: This doll is signed as 徳重 ( Tokushige ). His full name is Kanazawa Tokushige (金沢徳重)( 1920 - 1986 ). He is officially a Traditional Kokeshi artist / artisan from Fukushima prefecture , no more record of his master etc so he might be one of the self thought artist.
